Sometimes, people still have problems though. if you do, you can have the UEC changed to support hids, and have check control enabled at the same time. the faults would show up on the display above the radio. .

The fuse is fine (washers work too) and the tailgate release button works as I can hear the motor working, also I have tried the manual override from inside the car but that won't open it either :/.

Jun 20, 2004 · Put a wire on the BROWN wire in this block then with the other end touch the GREEN/GREY wires and BLUE/RED wires untill you found which pair are for the drivers window. If it doesnt move up or down, then its window motor connection or the motor itself. If it works okay, then its the switch. Dont worry about shorting any of the wrong wire

I tried my car again late last night. All back to normal, clock lights on when I open drivers door again Rev counter, Speedo, fuel gauge all working again.

It may also be that the roof safety mechanism hasnt engaged properly (this is to prevent the roof from being damaged when the boot has opened) . Again this can be checked by a vauxhall dealer.

Feb 20, 2015 · Try disconnecting the car battery negative lead over night or for at least 6 hours. This resets all the software and modules. You might be lucky and find this is all it needs. Doing this clears lots of stupid faults on the Astra H.
